If You can give me a little time:

Can I try to send to You my position (okmap>navigate>nmea simulation)

What is the correct filling of "send okmap" preference:

Normally if a mobile device is "on the field" 2G/3G is the only way.

Mobile data, (2G/3G) using the mobilephone network.

(between two mobilephone (orux) the multitracking works well)

mobiledata?

It seems I lost in the net provider-modem-router triangle.

What do You thing: is it good idea to try the net connection via mobiledata? (I have an usb sim adapter for laptop)

Yes you can.
Use OkMap itself (client mode) to send to OkMap (server mode).
You can use one or two PC in LAN.
I suggest to use two PC to replicate the final scenario.
To send data use NMEA simulator and activate "Navigation - Send position to remote OkMap".

Thx!

I am trying permanetly, no any result...

Can I testig the "Receive OkMap" function (port opening)on my pc, without orux system?
(bypassing accidental orux system error)
For example:receiving a recorded old track (or anything), from OkMap server?

okmap Posted - 17/02/2016 : 07:54:28
YES it's this: "Port range forwarding".
External Start port: 5150
External End port: 5150
Internal IP Address: 192.168.x.x - this is the LAN internal IP of the PC where OkMap receive tracks. if you have a DHCP you sholud see with IPCONFIG command. If you restart the PC this address may change.
Internal Start port: 5150
Internal End port: 5150
Protocol: TPC
Enabled = true

In OruxMaps use the dynamic IP address given by provider.

I read a lot docs, and forums, but I'm confused. Not a little bit...

1- It seems: my internet provider gives a dinamic IP adress, why should I use DDNS setting. (I need it?)
2- As You wrote: required for virtual server in router(forwarding)
Maybe DMZ mode?

I have no idea how can I do it. (what is start port, end port, which IP ?)

The procedure seems correct.
If you are testing on a LAN (orux connected via wireless on the access point on the same LAN where OkMap listner is connected) you should use the LAN IP address (192.168.x.x) and not the WAN public IP.
Viceversa if you are testing Orux via SIM card (WAN) you should use the WAN IP address (public router IP) and create a Virtual server on the router configuration to redirect the traffic on 5150 port to your local server (192.168.x.x).
I hope I was clear, my English isn't better that yours ;-)

Hello OkMap,

Unfortunatly I cant set the ORUX live tracking feature at my registered OkMap desktop sw.

After two night trying, I need some help...

What I did:

In OKMAP
-download OkMap 12.0.0 32bit
-installed it /my pc: win XP :) /
-run OkMap
-opened a big scale oziexplorer map of my aera.
-opened utilities/preferences/ Receive OkMap:
read, and copy Listener port, and my IP number to ORUX
-opened windows firewall, and at exceptions did mark the boxes:"okmap" and "OkMap-Mapping software.
-after trying set the exceptions in firewall,it is completly off now! (for testing period)
.with online tester I checked the port, it is OPEN.
-opened Remote data and selected Receive OkMap track
-opened View and select Track/Track last pos.

In ORUX
-start tracking
-set the integation parameters
-start wifi or mobile data connect
-start OkMap live function

And waiting a lot, but can't see the track (position of orux mobile)

I know it is an user error. How can I find the wrong step of process?
Can I check anyway: get the OkMap server my sent data from orux client?

Thank You for any information!
Best regards,

kerékjoe

ps: sorry my poor english...

You can use this configuration:
On each motorbike you should install OruxMap on an Android device with a GPS receiver (see OruxMap manual for details).
On a PC you can install OkMap to receive via internet the position of each motorbike and represent them on a map with the listener function (menu Remote data - Receive OkMap tracks).
See Utilities - Preferences - "Receive OkMap" page for customizing.
OkMap can also send own position but a PC on each motorbike may be unconfortable .
